Santa Barbara
Museum of Natural History

Inspiring a passion for the natural world.

SBMNH

The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History was my second attempt at any sort of web design.

About a month after I had put the Web site for the Chumash Interpretive Center online, I was contacted by the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History. One of the curators in the Invertebrate Zoology Department had seen my work. I was a student in the Graphic Design and Visual Communications program at UC Santa Barbara at that time, so the museum offered me an internship redesigning some of their sites pages.

The butterflies on this page were animated. These butterflies were my first steps into the world of online animation.

My first paying client came as a result of the pages I did for the Natural History Museum.
